Barnet v Millwall - the stats

8 August 2016

Find out the head-to-head record and more

Millwall's EFL Cup First Round game at Barnet on Tuesday marks The Lions' first ever visit to The Bees' new stadium, The Hive.

Barnet moved to their new ground at the start of the 2013/14 season having previously played at Underhill.

The new stadium has a capacity capped at 5,176 and over 500 Lions fans will be at The Hive to see Millwall's historic debut fixture in Camrose Avenue.

Meetings between the two clubs have been extraordinarily thin on the ground over the years - just two in total - and ironically both matches have been in Cup competitions.

Barnet have enjoyed a 100 per cent winning record against The Lions thus far, securing a 2-0 JPT First Round success at Underhill back in 2009 thanks to goals from Jake Hyde and Ismail Yakubu and more recently, bagging a 2-1 victory at The Den in the Capital One Cup First Round last September. On that occasion Andy Yiadom struck The Bees' winner in extra-time after Steve Morison had cancelled out John Akinde's early penalty for the visitors.

Striker Morison is edging closer to the magic '200' mark for The Lions, having made his 195th appearance in a Millwall shirt during Saturday's comfortable 3-0 League One opening day victory over Oldham. The match also saw midfielder Shaun Williams reach 100 appearances for Millwall and goalkeeper Jordan Archer notch his 50th start for the club.
