Right-back insists that The Lions will take nothing for granted against Oldham Athletic
Mahlon Romeo has fitted seemlessly into Millwall's side since making his debut at Walsall on 6th February.
The rookie right-back was called into action when regulars Shaun Cummings and Carlos Edwards were sidelined, marking his first senior start for The Lions in dream fashion with a goal in a 3-0 win at the Bescot Stadium.
Since then, 20-year-old Mahlon has been an ever-present and played a key role as The Lions have moved up into the top six and are just one point away from securing a Sky Bet League One Play-Off spot.
It has been quite an introduction to League football for Mahlon, but he has made the transition from the U21s to senior side very much in his stride.
Now the youngster is hoping that he and his team-mates can keep their foot on the gas and cement their Play-Off place this weekend at home to Oldham Athletic.
"We're not getting ahead of ourselves," said Mahlon. "It's been a tough season and a tough last couple of games, but we are focused and concentrating on winning the next game."
Oldham secured their League One status last Saturday with a 1-0 win against Crewe - their fifth win in eight games - and Mahlon insists that there will be no room for complacency in the home camp.
"We will not take anything for granted," he added. "We want to get the three points and have to stay focused."
