One Chief Executive and one Millwall legend on Lions Live tonightIn the inexorable march of progress enveloping South Bermondsey, Millwall Football Club has become the jewel in the crown for would-be developers. But while speculation and rumours are thrown around like confetti, one man quietly fighting the club's corner, not only for the hallowed turf of The Den, but for the hallowed tarmac surrounding it, is Chief Executive Andy Ambler. Andy will be in the Lions Live Studio tonight to explain the most recent developments to date.
Second on tonight's programme, brought to you direct from The Den between 7 - 9pm, is a man as synonymous with Millwall as the roaring lion. When he scored for Millwall, he wore a smile as broad as the goal posts he'd just breached, and over 40 years after he hung up his boots, that smile is still in place, and just as broad. Whether he's conducting tours of The Den or mingling with fans on matchdays, Billy Neil's smile remains undimmed. He'll be in the studio talking about his long association with the club.
Both Andy and Billy will be open to questions by phone, text or email.
Those generous people at Lions Live are offering up two prizes for the winner of this week's competition. Two tickets for Millwall's game against Fleetwood next Tuesday, plus a copy of Tim Cahill's book "Legacy" are on offer so have your phones at the ready.
