Millwall U21s team v Leeds United

7 September 2015

Cowan-Hall, Marquis & Powell in The Lions' starting XI

A trio of senior players have been named in the starting line-up as Millwall U21s look for a third successive Elite Development Squad win at the expense of Leeds United in this afternoon's Den encounter (2pm).

Midfielder Jack Powell, winger Paris Cowan-Hall and striker John Marquis have all featured at some stage in The Lions' last two outings against Chesterfield and Peterborough United and will be involved against the Yorkshire side.

Trialist Kyle Spence, a former Scottish U16 international previously with Coventry City and Crystal Palace, has an opportunity to impress. Fellow trialist Fejiri Okenabirhie, who scored last time out in a 3-0 win over Ipswich, could get another opportunity although he starts today's game on the bench.

Team: Harry Girling, Chris Parr, Noah Chesmain, Jack Powell, Christian Mbulu, Keaton Wood, Kyle Spence, Jamie Philpot, Alfie Pavey, John Marquis, Paris Cowan-Hall. Subs: Ryan Sandford, James Brown, Alex Mulrooney-Skinner, Ebere Eze, Fejiri Okenabirhie.

Parking is free on a first come, first served basis with admission free for Junior Lions and Junior Lions season ticket holders, or £5 adults and £1 U16s.
