Millwall U21s team news v Coventry City

21 September 2015

How The Lions line up today

Millwall's Elite Development Squad return to action against Coventry City on Monday afternoon aiming to bounce back from only their second defeat of the season last time out, a 2-0 result at Bolton Wanderers.

Last Monday's loss in Lancashire brought an end to a promising run of three successive victories against Crewe (1-0), Ipswich (3-0) and Leeds United (3-1).

Today's game at Calmont Road hands defender Joe Martin an opportunity to get some match minutes under his belt having recovered from an ankle injury that has kept him sidelined for most of the the League One campaign so far, although the left-back did return to the bench as an unused sub against Southend United on Saturday.

Winger Paris Cowan-Hall, who came on for the final 22 minutes of the Shrimpers game, is also included in The Lions' starting XI against the Sky Blues. Midfielder Ben Thompson and John Marquis, both of whom have featured for the first team this month, are also set to play for Justin Skinner's side.

Millwall: Harry Girling, Mahlon Romeo, Joe Martin, Ben Thompson, Keaton Wood, Christian Mbulu, Paris Cowan-Hall, Jack Powell, John Marquis, Alfie Pavey, Kyron Farrell. Subs: Chris Parr, Ryan Sandford, Noah Chesmain, Alex Wiles, Mikael Ndjoli.
