Millwall midfielder Abdou remaining positive

Jimmy upbeat as Lions seek first home League win

Lions midfielder Jimmy Abdou believes that he and his team-mates must remain positive as they seek a first home League win of 2015/16 when Rochdale visit The Den this Saturday.

Millwall's impressive recent run of results was halted last weekend when Southend United came away from SE16 with a 2-0 victory, but despite the scoreline boss Neil Harris was still pleased with the way in which his team performed against The Blues.

And Abdou, now in his eighth season at The Den, insists that the squad cannot let that set-back impact upon their confidence going into their next game.

"We're still looking for the formula to win at home but hopefully it is going to come," he said.

"Everyone is still focused and everyone is working hard.

"I think we showed good character on Saturday and I think we have to keep that positivity and go again.

"For the last couple of weeks we've been working hard and the manager has tried some new things to do something different and it works away. Now we have to find the formula to win at home."
