Openings for both a Head of Administration and Operations Manager
The Millwall Community Scheme was established in 1985 and converted into an independent limited company and registered charity, Millwall Community Trust (MCT) in 2000. MCT took over the management of the Lions Centre in 2002.
MCT provides innovative opportunities for those people who may not have traditionally participated in mainstream sport across Southwark and Lewisham. MCT works in partnership to offer an inclusive and diverse range of sporting, social inclusion, community cohesion, health and education opportunities. MCT focuses on enhancing the life chances of both individuals and neighbourhoods, benefiting over 5,000 people each year with up to 20,000 contacts with the community being made.
There are two current vacancies at the MCT, details of which are posted below:
Head of Administration(£20,000-£22,000)
The role will provide administrative and functional support to the Leadership team and to support MCT strategic business development activity, particularly the effective administration, monitoring and evaluation of activity programmes. The role will coordinate and support the management of the MCT office and team under direction from the Operations Manager. The role will have direct line management of the MCT Administration and HR Assistant.
The Head of Administration will have a core operational focus for the team working closely with the Leadership team and Administration and HR Assistant to lead and develop an effective and high performing function, as well as supporting the CEO with the delivery of MCTs strategic priorities.
Operations Manager(£33,000-£40,000)
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of MCT and supporting the Chief Executive Officer with strategic business planning and delivery. To support the Operations Director in the delivery of the approved annual Business Plan to ensure that site specific operational objectives and projects are delivered in accordance to the overall plan objectives and KPI’s. It is their responsibility to make MCT more efficient by providing effective methods in its business and facility operations.
The post holder will prepare a programme and BAU budgets, facilitates operations across MCT, control inventory, handle logistics and all contract/contractors.
