News on Webster, Cummings and more in our latest update
Millwall defender Byron Webster will be assessed in the build-up to Saturday's game against Rochdale after suffering heavy ankle bruising following a challenge in the closing stages of last weekend's defeat to Southend United.
Webster, 28, hasn't suffered any ligament or muscle damage to the ankle, however, so will have his fitness monitored over the course of the week.
In other injury news, Shaun Cummings, who has been out of action with a hamstring problem, is set to return to training on Thursday, while Sid Nelson is continuing his progress in overcoming a rib complaint.
Youngster Kris Twardek, who impressed for the first team during pre-season friendlies, is returning to training after suffering a fracture dislocation of the toe.
There has been a blow for winger Paris Cowan-Hall, though, who picked up a groin muscle injury as a result of a heavy challenge during Monday's Elite Development Squad game at Calmont Road.
Left-back Joe Martin made his return to action following an ankle injury in the same match as he looks to force his way into the reckoning for a starting berth in the first team.
