Clubb excited by rugby league clash at the home of MillwallWigan Warriors star Tony Clubb can't wait to take to the pitch on Saturday as Millwall Football Club hosts their crunch game against Catalans Dragons (3pm).
It is the first time that a rugby league match has been played at The Den and Clubb, who is from Gravesend, believes the benefits of bringing a game of such magnitude to London will have long-lasting benefits for Warriors.
In an interview with the News Shopper, which can be read in full by clicking here, Clubb said: "When I started playing league in London about 13 years ago there was just a handful of teams. Now there are loads of sides down there.
"For Wigan to take a game to London is a big decision and it's certainly got people talking.
"The commercial opportunities in London are huge, as we've already seen with the business club opening up down there.
"For me if this game inspires just a couple of kids to try out rugby league, then it's been a success."
