Best of the action from Calmont Road

Alfie Pavey's sensational seven-minute hat-trick sent Millwall's U21s on their way to a season's best 4-1 win against Elite Development Squad rivals Coventry City on Monday afternoon.

Young striker Alfie, now captain of The Lions U21s, led by example as he added to Keaton Wood's first-half opener with a three goal burst to put Justin Skinner's side 4-0 ahead.

Although Coventry reduced the arrears with a goal from Adam Jackson six minutes from time, the damage had already been done as Millwall made it four wins from five games.

The best of the action in a game that also saw Joe Martin get some useful match minutes under his belt following an ankle injury, is captured here in our special photo gallery.
