Updates on Jimmy, Ed Upson and Paris Cowan-Hall in the physio's latest injury report
Millwall physio Bobby Bacic has confirmed that Jimmy Abdou has had surgery on a dislocated collar bone - an injury the midfielder picked up in the early stages of the game away to Peterborough United earlier this month.
Within his latest injury report, Bacic also has updates on the fitness of Ed Upson and Paris Cowan-Hall.
The physio told millwallfc.co.uk: "We currently have three first team players in the treatment room, all of whom are there as a result of collision injuries which occurred during matches.
"Jimmy underwent surgery on Thursday to repair his dislocated collar bone. Although he was facing the daunting prospect of a first-ever operation, Jimmy - ever the gentleman - still found the time before his procedure to help an elderly patient to her feet in the hospital waiting room, despite still having his arm in a sling. We now have a new fan from the previously non-Millwall stronghold of St John's Wood.
"Now that this surgical procedure has been done Jimmy is looking at a return to action towards the very end of December.
"Ed, like Jimmy, suffered a collision injury during the Peterborough match. He has partially torn his medial knee ligament and although Ed will not require surgery, he will definitely not be involved in any matches this month and will aim to return mid to late November.
"Finally, Paris is recovering well from the injury to his groin and is on course to rejoin the training group within a week."
