Manager pays tribute to star quality of his forward

Millwall boss Neil Harris paid tribute to two-goal star Aiden O'Brien after The Lions came away from Bramall Lane with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sheffield United.

Young Irishman O'Brien, 22, hit a goal in each half either side of Jose Baxter's 70th-minute equaliser to help The Lions on their way to an impressive three points.

And Harris, whose side now face back-to-back home games against Doncaster Rovers and Bradford City, reserved special praise for O'Brien, who has now bagged seven goals this season.

"The biggest compliment I can give Aiden is that he never stands still," the manager said.

"He is always on the move and that is such an important quality in a striker.

"Yet again I was really impressed with all of my forward players for the way they pressed at the right times, created opportunities and got balls into the box.

"It wasn't our best performance today but there were a lot of warriors on the pitch for us.

"We put our faith in some young players and there were outstanding all game for us.

"It is a big result but we are not getting carried away. What we are doing, though, is looking up and not down which is important for a young group.

"What is pleasing from my point of view is that everyone, including our fans and the opposition, now know exactly what they are going to get from this Millwall team."
