John comes off the bench but can't help The O's to victory
Millwall striker John Marquis made his debut for loan club Leyton Orient during their 3-2 defeat away to Crawley Town on Saturday.
Marquis joined the League Two side in a 93-day emergency loan move
last Friday and was involved just over 24 hours later, coming on for the second-half with the score at 3-1.
Ex-Lions striker Jay Simpson gave The O's an early lead but Crawley turned the game on its head thanks to goals from Roarie Deacon and Mitch Hancox.
Former Millwall skipper Alan Dunne, who joined Leyton Orient in the summer, was then sent off for bringing down Rhys Murphy in the box, with Simon Walton converting the penalty.
Orient improved in the second-half with Marquis heavily involved in their brightest attacking play but Simpson's second of the afternoon, which came in the 82nd minute, wasn't enough for Ian Hendon's side.
