Millwall are on the ball for men's health
Movember 2015 will kick off early this year on Saturday 31st October when Mitre and The Football League will again back the campaign by using a special 'Mo' branded Delta Hyperseam Fluo ball in the 36 matches that take place that day. Movember and the Football League are asking all clubs to auction these unique match balls signed by their respective first team squads at a subsequent home game during the month to raise vital funds for the men's health organisation’s cause areas of prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.
The challenge is to MOVE every day of Movember – 30 MOVEs in 30 days. How you MOVE each day is up to you. Whether it's a workout one day, walking 30 minutes to work the next, a game of ping pong or an epic bike ride, no MOVE is too big or small.
Even though the Movember Foundation will always be all about the moustache, there is now more than one way to champion men's health next month. MOVE is a new initiative encouraging Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to get physically active and make a commitment to improve their health while raising funds.
"Being active is one of the best things you can do for your health, so the addition of MOVE makes it even easier to do something fun that’s good for you and men’s health. Just sign up at Movember.com."
The Movember Foundation spans the globe across 21 countries. Since inception, a global army of over 5 million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas have grown or supported the growth of a moustache. To date more than £400 million has been raised globally and over 1000 men's health projects have been funded.
