Neil Harris believes that Millwall are moving in the right direction and wants to see his side build on promising recent home performances when they host Doncaster Rovers this evening (7.45pm).
The Lions have won four of their last five games at The Den, including a 2-0 victory over Swindon Town last time out. But despite that run of form and an impressive win over Sheffield United last Saturday, Harris insists that his team will be taking nothing for granted against Darren Ferguson's Doncaster Rovers, who will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Peterborough United on Saturday.
Speaking in his programme notes for this evening's game, Harris says: "It's a tough one for us after what has been a really good week.
"As far as I'm concerned this is one of our biggest games of the season because once you have been to a ground like Bramall Lane and won you have to refocus on the next match, get yourself right physically and mentally, and then put in another big performance to back up that previous result.
"What we are looking to do tonight is build on not just the display against Swindon Town, but also the ones against Rochdale, Northampton, Peterborough in the JPT and, to an extent, Southend before that.
"We are taking small steps every week on the training pitch and in games. Even when we have lost matches you can still see that progress is being made in the right direction."
