Skinner expects competitive Millwall U21s game at The Den

EDS boss previews Friday's derby against Crystal Palace

Justin Skinner is expecting a competitive London derby at The Den on Friday when Millwall's U21 side host Crystal Palace (12noon).

The club's Elite Development Squad have made an excellent start to the season and sit second in the U21 Professional Development League 2, one point off the top, after winning six of their 11 games so far.

The senior squad are without a match this weekend so one or two senior players could also be involved in Skinner's starting Xl, and the EDS boss is hoping that Millwall fans once again make the most of the opportunity to watch his side in action.

"The lads have been doing really well and long may that continue," he told millwallfc.co.uk

"Friday's game is another good opportunity to play at The Den, which is especially important for some of the younger lads, and it should be a really competitive fixture against Crystal Palace.

"Hopefully plenty of fans can get down to watch the boys play because that support always makes a difference in this type of game."

Tickets for the Executive Area are now on general sale priced at £5 adults and £1 U16s. Admission is free for Junior Lions and Junior season ticket holders (offer not available online).
