Chopper looks ahead to Saturday's Cup tie at The Den
Millwall boss Neil Harris has warned against any complacency ahead of Saturday's Emirates FA Cup First Round tie at home to AFC Fylde and insisted that both sides will kick-off "on a level playing field".
The Coasters have made an impressive start to the season and will arrive in SE16 top of the National League North table after 10 wins from their first 14 games. Dave Challinor's side have already scored 31 League goals and are on a run of nine straight victories in all competitions, including an emphatic 5-0 success over Stalybridge Celtic last Saturday.
Chopper's Millwall side are in good form themselves, however, having earned four wins from their last five games at The Den, and the Lions boss has stressed that the squad will be as "meticulously" prepared for this match as they would any other.
"The game presents us with a new and exciting challenge," Harris says in his programme notes for the Emirates FA Cup tie.
"We are still approaching the match just the same as if we were playing a top-of-the-table side in League One.
"We have had the opposition watched, have studied videos and the players have prepared meticulously for this tie. We are as prepared for this match as we would be for any League game this season.
"What we have seen of AFC Fylde has displayed just what a good side they are. With the start they have made they shouldn't have much of a problem being promoted from their division this season, though it is still a tough League.
"We know that they are a talented side with an attractive style of play and, as the FA Cup always does, every team goes into each tie on a level playing field."
