All the best of Monday night's FA Youth Cup action

A four-goal salvo from Mikael Ndjoli fired Millwall U18s on their way to a thumping 9-1 FA Youth Cup Second Round home win against Woodbridge Town U18s on Monday night - and had our club historians reaching for their record books.

Ndjoli's four goals, along with efforts from James White, Matthew Campbell-Mhlope, Noah Chesmain, Lewis White and an own goal put the seal on an emphatic win against the Peckers, but it was a goal shy of the young Lions' highest-ever score in this competition.

That came back on 8th November 1977 at the old Den, when ironically a four-goal blast - this time from Chris Dibble - was the highlight of a 10-0 score against Maidstone United.

On that occasion the young Lions raced into a 4-0 lead at half-time, but were relentless after the break adding a further six goals to sweep aside Maidstone with Dave Pearce (3), Phil Coleman, Morgan Evans and Glen Morris completing the scorers.

There are likely to be considerably fewer goals when David Connolly and Larry McAvoy's U18s side are in FA Youth Cup Third Round action, however, with a tricky tie at south east London rivals Charlton Athletic next up in the competition (details tbc).

In the meantime, here are some photos from the best of Monday night's game to whet your appetite!
