'I have loved my season with the first team' says boss
Dan Mlinar has decided to step down as boss of Millwall Lionesses following 12 months in the managerial hot-seat.
Popular coach Dan will be taking up a new opportunity within Millwall's Academy set-up and the practicalities of combining both his new role and that of managing the Lionesses' could have proved tricky.
"Unfortunately I won't be carrying on my role next season as Millwall Lionesses manager," explained Dan. "I have loved my season with the first team and having been here at the club for eight years, it's sad for me that I will no longer be running the Centre of Excellence or the Lionesses WSL side.
"I will still be around to support and hopefully remain a part of the coaching set up to help build upon the foundations that we laid last season.
"It was a tough end after a really positive start, but we have really started to implement the philosophy of Millwall Football Club and I am hoping the ladies and the new manager will continue with that in the future."
