Millwall to travel over 7,000 miles in the pursuit of League One success

26 May 2015

Neil Harris and his Lions squad will face plenty of long away trips during the 2015/16 season

Millwall will cover 7,586 miles travelling to and from away games during the 2015/16 campaign.

The weekend's Play-Off Finals, which saw Southend United promoted to League One and Swindon Town miss out on a place in the Championship, confirmed Millwall's list of 23 opponents for next season.

Gillingham's Priestfield Stadium provides Neil Harris and his men with their closest away day at a round trip of just 64 miles, followed by Southend (80 miles) and Colchester United (134 miles).

On the other side of the coin, Fleetwood Town's Highbury Stadium is the furthest away, requiring a round journey of 512 miles, preceded by Blackpool (502 miles), Oldham and Rochdale (both 468 miles).

Full details of Millwall's fixture list for the 2015/16 League One campaign will be revealed here at 9.30am on Wednesday 17th June.
