John shares his excitement about the club's futureMillwall chairman John Berylson is confident that the club's current crop of talented youngsters will impress further throughout the 2015/16 season.
The likes of Sid Nelson, Aiden O'Brien and Jack Powell have all enjoyed regular first team football over the past few months, while others, such as Ben Thompson, Jamie Philpot and Alfie Pavey, have also been involved in the senior set-up.
And with former Development Squad boss Neil Harris now in permanent charge of the first team, Berylson believes the future is bright for The Lions.
"Neil is the perfect manager to run this team with those young players," he said.
"They should do well in League One. I think they will have confidence and I think some of our young strikers can score.
"We are getting in some very fine young players and we play them, which a lot of teams do not.
"We have to have a core of young players going forward and, based on what has happened this year, it's the future.
"We will have to add a few people in different positions and we have the recruitment staff, along with Neil, to find those spots.
"I feel very optimistic about next year and I look forward to enjoying the games."
