Manager Neil admits leadership "comes into the equation" as he looks to add to his squad over the summerMillwall's new captain could be a summer signing, manager Neil Harris has suggested.
The departure of long-serving defender Alan Dunne, who skippered The Lions throughout the 2014/15 campaign, was confirmed earlier this month, leaving Harris with a big decision to make on who takes the armband ahead of August's League One opener.
And the Millwall boss, who says his search for new players is "progressing nicely", believes he will have plenty of options available to him when it comes to choosing Dunne's replacement.
"We have certainly got some good personnel left in the building," Harris said.
"There are some good leaders with experience and some talented young players.
"But we've lost the captain of our side and we need to replace him. That certainly comes into the equation when we are looking at new players.
"I'm pretty sure that once pre-season starts - and all the boys are back fresh from their holidays - that we will see a new dynamic in the group and certain people will emerge as natural leaders. I'll be keeping an eye on that."
