Some possible contenders are Shaun Cummings, who has returned from injury and impressed at right-back, whilst Dan Harding has quietly gone about his business taking care of the left-back berth. Jimmy Abdou is back in midfield following a stint in defence, and proved his worth with hard-working displays alongside Shaun Williams, as has Martyn Woolford. Strikers Lee Gregory and Aiden O'Brien were both on target in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Brentford, where keeper David Forde showed just why he is the Republic of Ireland's number one with three magnificent saves.
