Chopper looks for players to impress supporters

Neil Harris says he wants to see 'Millwall-style' performances from his side over the remaining 10 games of the season.

The Lions legend took over as boss on Tuesday and is busy preparing for the trip to face Bolton Wanderers ahead of a crucial clash with Brighton & Hove Albion at The Den next week.

Chopper believes backing from Millwall fans will be key in the club's bid for survival and is looking for his squad to get supporters behind them by playing a committed, exciting brand of football.

"I will give it my all, as will the team, and I want to see them play with pride," he said.

"I want to see an excitement and Millwall-style performances. I want the fans to see the players play for them.

"There is lots to look at between now and Saturday. Certain people will be given an opportunity to grab a shirt and play.

"Will I tinker with the style of play? Possibly.

"I'll try and put some Millwall-style beliefs in them and the way we are going to play. It starts Saturday at Bolton, which is a very difficult game but one we will look forward to."
