Lions chairman John looking to 'make things better'
Millwall chairman John Berylson believes the future is bright at the club.
The Lions have eight games remaining to try and secure their Championship status and Beryslon, who attended Tuesday night's 0-0 draw with Brighton, says he and the club's board are already laying plans for next season and beyond.
"Everybody knows what some of our younger players are doing and the average age at this club has to come down," he said.
"It's obvious to anybody that it's easier to do that in League One than the Championship but, regardless, the work has to get done.
"We would rather be in the Championship and I certainly haven't given up. It is now down to the players so let's see how big their hearts are.
"I know we have to do some work but one way or the other the future is bright.
"This is no fun but there are things we have to do in the future to make this better for all of us."
