Millwall duo Nelson and O'Brien are 'integral' for the future, says Lions manager Harris

Boss Neil delighted that young duo have committed their futures to the club this week

Millwall manager Neil Harris says that Sid Nelson and Aiden O'Brien are both "integral parts" of his side for the future.

The young duo, who have both worked their way through the club's youth ranks, signed new contracts earlier this week.

And Harris, who is also looking to secure the signatures of midfield pair Jimmy Abdou and Fred Onyedinma in the near future, says both Nelson and O'Brien have deserved their chance to feature regularly for the first team.

"Firstly I just want to say how delighted I am that Sid and Aiden have signed their deals," Harris told millwallfc.co.uk.

"They are integral parts of this football club both short and long-term.

"Both of them were really keen to sign new contracts and commit their futures to the club.

"They deserved new contracts and they also deserve the opportunity to be in the team again next season."
