Job vacancies | Millwall looking to fill two analysis positions

Applications are being accepted for one full-time job and another part-time role

Head of Academy Performance Analysis - full-time

Millwall Football Club are currently accepting applications for the full-time role of Head of Academy Performance Analysis, based at the Academy's training facility in Eltham, south east London.

The successful candidate will deliver and actively oversee high-level performance analysis of both team and players from U18s to U9s, under the guidance of the Head of Performance Analysis and the Academy management team.

Main duties and responsibilities

- To fulfil all analysis needs of the U18s squad pre-match, matchday, post-match, longitudinal and educational

- Successfully develop and maintain a team and individual clip library in order to contribute to the player's six-weekly learning objective reviews

- To recruit, induct and manage a team of volunteers in order to deliver a high standard of performance analysis service to the remaining Academy age groups

- To develop and maintain all of the Academy Performance Analysis sections of the Premier League Management Application

- To keep abreast of all new technology and methodology related to team and individual performance analysis

- Any ad hoc duties as requested by management

Skills and competencies

Essential:

- A high level of analytical knowledge and professional experience

- IT literate; exceptional IT and video-editing skills and the operation of both Windows and Macintosh operating platforms

- Efficient in using Sportscode and other performance analysis systems

- Training and competence in operation of the required technology

Preferred:

- Related sports science degree

- Database management

Personal qualities

- Extremely hard working, highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and multiple people

- Team leader and team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Proactive attitude towards all aspects of the role

- Self-motivated and enthusiastic towards achieving all objectives set

- Receptive to feedback about own behaviour, strengths and areas for improvement

- Excellent written skills

Under 21 Development Squad Performance Analyst - part-time

Millwall Football Club are also currently accepting applications for the part-time role of Under 21 Development Squad Performance Analyst.

The successful candidate will deliver high-level performance analysis of both team and player, under the guidance of the Head of Performance Analysis, first team and Academy management team.
