Tony Craig signs two-year deal with Millwall

Defender is 'ecstatic' to re-join The Lions for a third time

Tony Craig has this afternoon penned a two-year deal at Millwall following the cancellation of his contract at Brentford on Friday.

Defender TC, who will commence his third spell by joining the squad for the trip to Portugal on Sunday, spoke of his delight at returning to The Den.

A product of Millwall's youth set-up, 30-year-old TC has previously played for The Lions in 2002-2007 and 2008-2012, making 233 appearances in all and scoring seven goals.

He beamed: "I'm thrilled to be back at Millwall and I'm raring to go.

"The last time I left I thought that I had played my final game for the club but I'm back now and ecstatic. I really am looking forward to having the opportunity to continue my Millwall career."

Previously TC had played alongside current manager Neil Harris, assistant boss Dave Livermore and coach Andy Frampton, but will now find that his relationship with them is different.

"Obviously things have changed and they are management," he added. "In terms of the current playing squad, there are only about three or four from the last time I was here, so it will be good opportunity to get to know the lads in Portugal.

"What I'm looking forward to most though is getting back to playing in front of our fans again at The Den."
