All the action from pre-season opener at Hayes LaneTuesday night's pre-season opener at Bromley proved to be a useful exercise for Millwall manager Neil Harris who gave 21 players in all a run-out against the Conference side at Hayes Lane.
There were debuts aplenty too, with summer signings Jordan Archer and Joe Martin making their first appearance in a Millwall shirt, whilst Tony Craig made his third 'debut' having returned to the club earlier this month to complete a hat-trick of spells in SE16.
The game also gave boss Chopper the opportunity to blood youngsters such as Mahlon Romeo, Noah Chesmain, Kris Twardek and Kyron Farrell, all of whom got some valuable senior match minutes under their belt.
Having gone a goal behind on 10 minutes to Moses Ademola, a quick-fire reply in the second-half from John Marquis (48mins, pen) and Ben Thompson (56mins) turned the tables as Millwall headed into the dying seconds holding a 2-1 advantage.
However a late, bizarre own goal from the unfortunate Craig ensured that honours ended even in front of a crowd of over 2,000 that included a healthy contingent of Lions fans.
