"It just wasn't a Millwall performance," says Dan
Millwall Lionesses boss Dan Mlinar said his side got what they deserved after falling to a 1-0 defeat at Yeovil Town on Sunday.
Natasha Knapman headed the game's only goal after 21 minutes in front of a record crowd at Huish Park.
Fliss Gibbons had a chance to equalise during the second-half only to be denied by a last-ditch tackle, leaving the Lionesses cursing their luck after a fourth loss in a row.
"We got what we deserved," Mlinar said. "We were pathetic in the first-half and I don't think that is even too harsh a word.
"We lacked heart, we lacked grit, we lacked determination; it just wasn't a Millwall performance.
"As a club we are all about effort and hard work but we had none of that in the first-half.
"In the second-half we got a foothold in the game without ever really creating anything ourselves."
