Lions boss says his players must stick to task
Ian Holloway says his Millwall side will focus only on overcoming Bradford City in next week's FA Cup replay - and not on a potential trip to play Chelsea in the Fourth Round.
The Third Round replay against The Bantams took on added significance when it was announced on Monday night that the winner would face Jose Mourinho's Premier League leaders at Stamford Bridge on the weekend of 24th/25th January.
But even before next Wednesday's replay, however, The Lions face a crucial League game away to Blackpool, and boss Ollie insists he and his players will be taking each match as it comes.
"From my point of view we have a big job to do," he told millwallfc.co.uk. "We're not thinking of Chelsea and, at the moment, our only focus is on Blackpool because Saturday's match is a huge one in the League for us. We have got to go there and get a result.
"Once the Bradford replay does come around there is, of course, an added incentive knowing that Chelsea await in the Fourth Round. It doesn't get much bigger than travelling away to the club who are top of the Premier League and our fans deserve to watch their team in a game like that.
"Bradford have shown great Cup pedigree in recent seasons and they will be up for it, so it will be down to the players to show how much they want to progress to the next Round.
"But it is important that we stick to task and keep our targets in mind. We will only ever take each game as it comes because if you have your eye on something in the future then you can easily fail in the present."
