Left-back Dan explains Richard Chaplow's role in his move
Dan Harding is looking forward to the challenge of helping Millwall battle their way clear of the Championship drop zone after joining The Lions on loan from Nottingham Forest until the end of the season.
Dan, 31, did his homework prior to making the move, speaking to former Southampton team-mate Richard Chaplow about what he could expect.
"Chappy had a lot of good things to say about the club," Dan explained. "And of course I already knew what a top manager Ian Holloway is, supported by very good coaching staff.
"For myself, this is a great opportunity to get some regular first team football again, and I'm looking forward to playing my part in the second half of the season.
"Every game is a big one in this League, with pressure for success increasing every year it seems. But I do believe that if we can string two or three wins together we can start moving up the table quickly and things will look a lot more positive."
