Fabbrini delighted to make Den move tooIan Holloway has described the arrival of new signing Diego Fabbrini as 'like a breath of fresh air' after formalities were completed for Millwall's fifth signing of the January transfer window on Friday morning.
Fabbrini, 24, is expected to go straight into The Lions squad for Saturday's home game with high-flying Ipswich Town after agreeing a 93-day loan from Watford.
Speaking to millwallfc.co.uk Lions boss Ollie enthused: "He can play on the wing or in behind the front. He beats people, has lot of assists and gives us options in games.
"All he wants to do is play football. He brings a breath of fresh air into what is quite a stagnant group at the moment."
Diego, who has been handed squad number 8, is looking forward to his time at The Den, adding: "I'm very happy to be here. I spoke with the gaffer and took the decision to come to Millwall and play, and to try to help win some matches.
"English football and the Championship is very different to Italian football. It's much quicker and more physical - but I like it.
"The Ipswich match is very important and it is one we must try to win. For myself, I like to play as a winger or behind the striker and I'm looking forward to playing with the other Millwall players and to doing well here."
