We did everything but score, says Holloway

Lions boss Ollie reviews 0-0 draw with Fulham

Millwall manager Ian Holloway said his side did everything but score during the 0-0 draw with Fulham at The Den.

The Lions carved out plenty of opportunities in the London derby, particularly with crosses into the box, but couldn't break down a stubborn Cottagers rearguard.

"It is only a matter of time if we keep getting that many crosses into the box," Holloway told millwallfc.co.uk.

"There were enough opportunities for us and in the end we did everything but score.

"But I believe we have the players here who will score the goals for us between now and the end of the season. That is the only thing we are lacking at the moment.

"Defensively we look very good and Alan Dunne and Jos Hooiveld were both fantastic. Jimmy Abdou was brilliant playing out of position at right-back.

"The crowd were great once again and they were just desperate to see us get that goal. It would have really lifted the place.

"Hopefully we can build on this on Tuesday against Sheffield Wednesday. The lads can't wait to get out there again and try to get that win at home."

Lee Martin missed Saturday's game with a very slight stress fracture to his foot, which was picked up during the game against Leeds United at Elland Road. millwallfc.co.uk will have more details on that on Monday.
