Chopper previews tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie

Millwall manager Neil Harris expects a "good battle" against Southend United when the two sides meet at Roots Hall this evening (7.45pm).

The Lions face Phil Brown's Blues in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area Semi-Finals with a two-legged tie against either Oxford United or Yeovil Town awaiting the winner in the next stage of the tournament.

Millwall are looking to bounce back from Saturday's Emirates FA Cup defeat at The Den and Harris, who played for The Shrimpers before hanging up his boots, is expecting an improved display from his side.

"It's an opportunity to get through in an important Cup competition," he said.

"Both teams have taken it very seriously and it is a game we certainly want to win. It's a Cup that has been good to us this year so far, with three very good victories for different reasons.

"We've got as far as the (Area) Semi-Final, we're going to have a good following and we want to give a good account of ourselves.

"It's going to be a good battle; they work extremely hard as a team and we know their strengths. We are diligent to them but then we focus on ourselves, what we are good at and what we can be better at from Saturday."
