Millwall defender ruled out for the season
Millwall Lionesses defender Jordon Butler will be out for at least the rest of the season after sustaining an horrific knee injury in a 4-2 win at Watford earlier this month.
Butler went to ground trying to intercept a pass from a Watford forward and an MRI scan has confirmed the worst, with Jordon suffering significant damage to her ACL, PCL and meniscus cartilage.
She is the third Millwall player to have sustained a potentially career-ending injury at Watford during the past two seasons, with both Dionne Lennon and Emma Whitter sustaining broken legs playing on the Berkhamstead FC pitch.
Everyone at Millwall Lionesses and Millwall FC would like to wish Jordon the best and wish her a full recovery.
