Preview: Swansea U21s v Millwall U21s

13 April 2015

Team news for tonight's game

Millwall's U21s face high-flying Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium this evening looking to extend an eight-game unbeaten run.

Scott Fitzgerald's young charges have not been beaten in the Professional Development League game since 9th February, when Jamie Philpot was on target in a 2-1 loss at Ipswich Town.

Since then, however, the young Lions have chalked up eight games without defeat including a 3-3 draw with QPR last time out, in which Philpot scored a last-minute leveller.

Defender Chris Parr, who was offered a pro contract last week, takes his place in a squad that includes former Arsenal and Gillingham right-back Mahlon Romeo, playing his second game on trial.

Swans go into action sitting second in the table, having seen Crystal Palace leapfrog them into top spot last week on goal difference. The home side will be looking to cement their place in the top two ready for the end of season Play-Offs but will be facing a Lions side in confident mood.

Squad: King, Romeo, Parr, Brown, Casey, Twardek, Farrell, Chesmain, Philpot, Pavey, Eze, Mulrooney-Skinner, Fitzgerald, Bray, Ndjoli, Barton.
