New signing in line to play for U21s at Forest

New signing Angel Martinez is in line to make his first appearance in a Millwall shirt this afternoon when Neil Harris' U21s face Nottingham Forest in a Professional Development League 2 game at the City Ground.

Midfielder Angel, who penned a one-year contract at The Den last Tuesday, is named in a 16-man Millwall squad that also includes Ed Upson. Fellow midfielder Ed is hoping to get some useful match minutes under his belt having missed the season so far with a hamstring injury.

Millwall will be aiming to make it a hat-trick of League wins this season, having already beaten Barnsley 2-0 (Casey, Pavey) and more recently Charlton Athletic 2-1 (Powell, O'Brien).

The squad in full is as follows: Tom King, Harry Girling, Josh Siafa, Jake Goodman, Callum Webb, Keaton Wood, Dylan Casey, Kyron Farrell, Angel Martinez, Ed Upson, Ben Thompson, Sofiane El-Bekri, Magaye Gueye, Fred Onyedinma, Aiden O'Brien, Alfie Pavey.

A report will appear on the website later.
