Holloway looking for a reaction

30 September 2014

Boss Ollie looks ahead to tonight's Den encounter

Millwall manager Ian Holloway has called on a reaction from his players in this evening's Sky Bet Championship match against Birmingham City.

Saturday's 2-1 loss at Huddersfield stretched his side's winless run to four games and leaves The Lions without a victory in September so far.

Ollie, though, is in a positive mood ahead of Birmingham's visit. Speaking in Issue Five of The Lion, he says: "The Championship can be an unforgiving League but, rest assured, nobody at this football club is feeling down or sorry for themselves.

"The positive start we made to the season means that we're only two good results away from the top end of the table, which is where we all want to be.

"We have 11 points in the bag and I'm looking for a reaction from the lads and to get up and get going again - starting tonight.

"We have to learn to take a set-back and not let a bad result impact our confidence. Some good results in the next couple of games would put us back in the right half of the table ready to attack the rest of the season. It's a marathon, not a sprint."
