Action from Tuesday night's game
Lee Gregory scored his first ever goal for Millwall in Tuesday night's 3-1 home defeat by Birmingham City - and his effort was one of the positives to come out of a disappointing night for Ian Holloway's Lions. It is 15 games and 18 years since The Lions last beat Birmingham City and having gone 2-0 down by the half-way stage it looked all over for the home side.
However a double substitution at the break saw Richard Chaplow and young striker Aiden O'Brien enter the fray. For O'Brien, it was a night to remember as this was his first ever appearance in the Championship and his astute piece of skill set up Gregory for the 54th-minute goal that reduced the arrears.
The Lions pushed forward in search of a leveller, but were caught out with a quick late counter-attack and Wes Thomas slotted home a third goal for the visitors.
