Lions midfielder looks forward to return of former boss this Saturday
Jimmy Abdou has enjoyed some magical memories including as a Millwall player during his six years at The Den including an FA Cup Semi-Final appearance, a Play-Off Final win and three visits to Wembley Stadium.
The manager who originally signed midfielder Jimmy from Plymouth Argyle in June 2008, Kenny Jackett, makes an emotional return to SE16 with his Wolves side.
Whilst there will be a warm welcome back for the former boss from players and fans alike, Jimmy says that there will be no room for sentiment once the whistle blows to start the game.
"Of course we will give a welcome to our old gaffer; it will be good to see him again," he told Lions Player.
"He is a humble man, a professional and serious to the end. I learned a lot under him and he is a good manager. There are a lot of good memories from when I came to the club, but I want more now."
Jimmy and his team-mates know that they will have to be on top of their game if they are going to halt a Wolves side riding high in the Championship, with just two defeats this season and a couple of points off table-topping Norwich.
But The Lions could take great heart from a disciplined display last time out in a 0-0 draw at Derby County and now want to kick on and up the table with three points this Saturday.
"We have to follow what we did at Derby; we have to stay focused, compact as a team and work together. If we do that I think we can win," Jimmy added.
