Holloway looks ahead to Cardiff test

24 October 2014

Boss Ollie looking to build on positives

Millwall manager Ian Holloway says his side are starting to believe in themselves again ahead of Saturday's live televised game against Cardiff City.

The Lions head into the match on the back of three straight draws - two of which have been on the road - against a City side who have won two from two under new boss Russell Slade.

"I took a lot of positives from our last two performances," Ollie says in Saturday's edition of The Lion.

"What character we showed to come back from 3-0 down here against Wolves to take a point. We played some excellent football (at Wigan) in difficult conditions and I thought we looked like we did earlier in the season before we started conceding goals.

"We limited Wigan to very few opportunities on the night and it appears we are beginning to believe in ourselves again.

"On Saturday we have the opportunity to build on three very good draws and start turning them into wins at The Den.

"We have the opportunity to show a wider audience how we try to play the game and entertain people here at Millwall, and if we carry on where we left off in the last two matches I'm sure we'll do that."

Read much from Ollie in Saturday's edition of The Lion, available to purchase around the ground for just £3.
