All the action from Saturday's Den encounterMillwall served up a TV treat on Saturday lunchtime when a goal from Danny Shittu - his first of the season - secured a first win in nine starts for Ian Holloway's side against Cardiff City.
Defender Danny, making his first Championship start since 8th March, marked his return in style with a bullet header from Shaun Williams' 54th-minute corner that gave Bluebirds keeper David Marshall no chance.
It was a perfect way, also, to get back on the scoresheet with his last goal coming nearly 12 months ago in a 2-2 draw with Burnley. The game also showed Lions keeper David Forde at his very best, making a sensational double save in the first-half when the teams were locked at 0-0.
Millwall could eventually have won by an even bigger margin against Russell Slade's side with Ed Upson and Lee Gregory both chalking up a hat-trick of scoring chances but in the end Shittu's goal proved decisive.
