Lions Live: Billy, Kevin & Lee lined up

19 November 2014

Thursday night's guests are confirmed

It has certainly been an eventful month for Millwall legend Billy Neil, who has not only celebrated his 70th birthday and 50 years with The Lions - but was recognised by the club for his outstanding service when the 'Billy Neil Sponsors' Lounge' was officially unveiled last week.

So what better time for the Lions Live team to catch up with the hugely popular former player than tomorrow night, when Billy guests on the show brought to you direct from The Den between 7 - 9pm.

For those younger fans not lucky enough to have seen Billy play, he was signed as a young winger from Scottish junior club Bonnyrigg Rose in April 1964 and he went on to score 30 goals in 211 senior appearances before a knee injury prematurely ended his playing career.

However, he remained on the staff at the old Den working in a coaching capacity initially before becoming lotteries, commericial, shop and away travel manager at various times. Billy is on the Millwall staff to this day, running the club's former players' association and working in the commercial department.

If you want to take a trip down memory lane with Billy or have any questions you would like to ask, then please get in touch using one of the following methods listed below.

The Lions Live team will also be joined by Charlton Athletic supporter/journalist Kevin Nolan in the first hour of the show. Kevin will be giving his views from the 'opposition' camp ahead of Saturday's derby clash at The Valley.

In the second half of the show Lee Martin, who has made a welcome return to first team duty following a spell out injured, tells us what the mood is amongst the squad as The Lions aim to make The Valley a happy hunting ground again.

Thursday night's competition prize is a special Lions Live goody bag.
