25 November 2014

Les Briley stays as Technical Director

Millwall Lionesses are delighted to announce the appointment of Dan Mlinar as their new First Team Manager.

Mlinar has been with Millwall for seven years, starting out as first team coach alongside Aiden Boxall and Kay Cossington. As Reserve Team Manager, and more recently Centre Manager of our Girls Centre of Excellence, he has played a crucial part in the development of many of the Lionesses current first team squad.

Dan managed the Lionesses in a caretaker capacity for the final four games of the FA WSL 2 2014 campaign and is confident that he can improve on the team’s eighth place finish this season.

Speaking about his appointment, Mlinar said, “Millwall Lionesses are an ambitious club and we want to improve in every area. I have already had lots of meetings with the board about moving the club forward and I believe that we have the staff and players in place to do that.”

The Lionesses are also delighted to confirm that Millwall legend Les Briley will be staying with the club in his role as Technical Director.
