Striker Lee feeling at home with The Lions
Lee Gregory says he is feeling settled at Millwall and appreciates the backing Lions fans have given him early in his career at The Den.
The 26-year-old, a summer signing from FC Halifax, had to wait until his fifth Millwall appearance before finding the back of the net, but has since added a further two goals and looks to be growing in stature in Ian Holloway's frontline.
"I am feeling so settled in now it is great," Lee, who scored in last Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Brentford, said.
"I've got my goals, feel fitter, feel stronger and have gone past the stage of trying to make sure I was in the squad to now trying to make sure I start in the team.
"The speed of play is different to what I was used to and in training there has been a hell of a lot of work put in by everyone. It took me a couple of games, but I now feel that I am right up to speed.
"It did take me a little while to settle here moving down from up north, and just a couple of weeks before I joined we had just bought our first ever house in Sheffield and were about to move in.
"But everything is sorted out down here now, I'm all settled and very happy. This is a great club to be at and a really good set of lads.
"The fans have been great to me so far and given me a really warm welcome. They are very passionate, but the players here are very passionate too and really want to do well."
