GALLERY: Watford v Millwall

1 November 2014

Best of the action from Vicarage Road

The best of the action was captured here in our special photo gallery.

It had looked like it was all going so well once Martyn Woolford fired The Lions ahead in the 12th-minute, but Watford hit back with three goals to secure maximum points for the home side.

It was the first time Ian Holloway's charges had tasted defeat in five starts, and brought an abrupt halt to a promising run that had reaped draws against Wolves (3-3), Wigan (0-0) and Derby (0-0) along with a 1-0 success against Cardiff City last time out.

Millwall left Vicarage Road wondering just how they had not come away from the game with at least a point that their performance deserved as Watford went top of the Championship table with a 3-1 win.
