James Wade has signalled his intention to make a winning return to Millwall as his bids to defend the title he scooped last year.

The seven-time major winner, who is appearing at The Den for the second consecutive year on Thursday 12th June, is determined to repeat his winning feat in this year's exciting Millwall Masters event.

'The Machine', who is the PDC's second most decorated player, will be joined by former World Champion Mark Webster, Dutch ace Vincent van der Voort and darts legend Bobby George for what is set to be an evening of top quality sporting entertainment in SE16.


"I'm really up for this because I won the first one and I want to win the second," said Wade, the World no.5.

"I've been practising well and I'd love to come back to Millwall and show how well I can play. It was a brilliant event last time but this could be even better.

"There were some great local dart players too and they’ll be giving us pros a run for our money again, I'm sure.


"I remember it being a great crowd, who love their darts and that all makes for a fantastic atmosphere and brilliant night. I can't wait to be back."
