Trotts to make Bolton move permanent

Midfielder Liam Trotter, who spent the latter part of the 2013/14 season on loan at Bolton Wanderers is set to make the move a permanent one for an undisclosed fee once his current Den deal ends on 30th June.

Trotts found the net 25 times in 164 appearances for Millwall, helping Kenny Jackett's side to Play-Off final success in 2010, having faced The Lions at Wembley for Scunthorpe United 12 months previously.

Earlier in his career he enjoyed a brief loan spell at the club under Willie Donachie, having progressed through the youth ranks at Ipswich Town, and experienced a dramatic 'second' Lions debut on his return to the club when he scored at both ends in the dying seconds of a 1-1 draw against Southampton on 16th January 2010.

Famed for his innovative goal celebration dances, Trotts was also a keen supporter of the 'Movember' campaigns highlighting the issue of male cancers with some impressive taches.

Everyone at The Den wishes him well for the future, except when Trotter trots out for The Trotters against Millwall.
