Seven youngsters pen professional contracts

Members of Harris' U21s sign on

Seven Academy prospects - Sid Nelson, Ben Thompson, Keaton Wood, Denzel Gerrar, Jake Goodman, Jack Powell (pictured above) and Josh Siafa - have all now put pen-to-paper on professional contracts at The Den.

Another youngster, Dylan Casey, previously at Leicester City, has also signed a pro deal at Millwall, whilst striker Aiden O'Brien last month pledged his future to the club by signing a new two-year contract.

Defender Goodman, who has enjoyed successful spells on loan at Aldershot Town and Luton, penned a one-year extension to his current deal.

The players were all regulars in Neil Harris' U21 Development Squad throughout the course of the 2013/14 season and will look to push on for places in the first team under Ian Holloway next term, following the path of Fred Onyedinma, the club's Young Player of the Year, who impressed in four games for The Lions in March.
